A-9030/9050- Connecting a Subwoofer with Built-In Power Amplifier

A subwoofer with a built-in power amplifier can be connected to be used.

• Connect LINE INPUT on the subwoofer with a built-in power amplifier to PRE OUT: SUBWOOFER terminal on the integrated amplifier
• If your subwoofer does not have a built-in amplifier, connect the input jack of your amplifier to the pre out jack of the subwoofer

If there is no sound coming from the connected powered subwoofer:

• Make sure the subwoofer is connected correctly
• Check subwoofer's settings to make sure Gain and Low-Pass are set correctly
• Check that power switch on subwoofer is set correctly
• Replace the RCA subwoofer cable
• Make sure the integrated amplifier is not muted
• Make sure the integrated amplifier’s volume control is not set to minimum 
• Plug the power cord into an AC wall outlet
