    Brand new system. After just a few weeks, CD playback skips sporadically. Followed troubleshooting steps. Wondering if there could be debris inside the unit from manufacture/shipping as a cause. Please advise.

    System is about 10 years old and has done me well.  However, it has started skipping and it won't release the disk that it is skipping.  Tried multiple things but no luck.  Other than smashing it on the driveway what should I do?

    You refer people to articles, it’s not disc cleaning, vibration or anything else. My old SONY Walkman plays everything perfectly. I spent hundreds of dollars on this CD player as a “hi-fi” component and it DOESN’T WORK, it skips and other players don’t. Can I PLEASE get my money back?!?

    Hello Scott, 

    I'm sorry that you are experiencing an issue with the DXC390. If you have cleaned the disc's and still having the issue then this is an internal issue within the player. May I have the serial number of the DXC390 also can you provide the sales receipt so I can further assist you.
